The Quickmount, and why it's useful
The Quickmount system lets you install or remove the mast in seconds with a single screw and no tools. The plate stays attached to the board in your set position. This last point is key: you won't lose your settings every time you disassemble. If you travel, transport your foil in a bag, or share a board, this system will transform your session routine.
A carbon profile inherited from the D/LAB 2.0
This mast uses the optimized profile concept from the D/LAB range. Its tapered design reduces wetted surface and drag, which improves glide and acceleration. This also increases overall efficiency. The carbon construction provides direct feedback, efficient power transfer, and a connected feel underfoot.
Between aluminum and D/LAB
Like the version with an integrated plate, the SLS 2.0 QM sits between aluminum masts and D/LABs. It strikes a balance between efficiency, stiffness, control, and ease of use. The difference from the classic SLS 2.0 isn't the profile, which is the same, but how it connects to the board.
What the Quickmount costs and what it brings
A separate plate is inherently a little less stiff than a monobloc, and it adds an interface. In return, you get immediate installation and removal, plus your settings are preserved. If you leave your foil permanently assembled, the SLS 2.0 with an integrated plate will feel more direct. If you disassemble often, the QM will save you time on every outing.
Compatibility
The mast is fully compatible with existing Duotone Quickmount plates. It integrates into existing setups without needing any other changes. Its 3BS+ insert ensures compatibility with all current Duotone foils and with future developments in the range.
Two lengths and assembly
The 76 cm and 84 cm lengths cover pump and prone foiling, as well as all-around wing foiling. The chord is 120 mm, widening to 135 mm near the top plate. Thickness is 18 mm at the thinnest point and 20 mm near the top plate. The 3BS screw set is included, with 3 M8 x 50 TX 45 screws to be tightened to 15 Nm. The fourth 3BS+ screw accompanies the tail, not the mast.

Rinse with fresh water, focusing on the Quickmount mechanism and screw set first. Then, dry completely before storage. Salt is the enemy of a quick-release system. It will seize the single screw if left to dry wet.
