A Foil Assist complete set gives you everything you need to motorize your foil: the electronic unit, the motor and its propeller, the battery, the remote, the charger, and the screw set. Foil Drive lets you build your own kit: choose a base kit without a motor or battery if you're mounting an integrated mast or already have some components, or opt for a starter kit or complete set. Duotone Electric's set includes the motorized mast, the harness with its two batteries, the ring and watch remote, and the charger. Base kit, starter kit, or complete pack?
The Foil Drive base kit is just the unit, with the remote, charger, screw set, and bag. You add your choice of battery and motor, or mount it on an integrated Foil Drive x Armstrong, x F-ONE, x Slingshot One-Lock, or X Axis mast. The Starter Kit and complete packs provide the entire system. In all cases, two things to sort out before ordering are the adapter for your mast and the cable length. Our guide, choosing your Foil Drive cable length, explains this, and we'll measure it for you at the shop. The Duotone set is complete by nature. It doesn't include the board, Front Wing, and stab, except in the "complete set" versions, which have them.

What does a complete Foil Assist kit include?
At Foil Drive, a complete pack includes the unit, battery, motor with its pod and mast adapter, remote, charger, screw set, and bag. At Duotone, the set includes the motorized mast, harness with two batteries, remote, and charger.
Foil Drive Base kit or complete kit?
Choose the Base kit if you are mounting an integrated mast or already own a battery and motor. Choose the Starter Kit or complete pack to start from scratch.
Foil Drive Assist MAX or MAX+?
The MAX+ replaces the MAX. It uses the Fusion's 43 V platform. This provides more power, a tilt sensor, and improved Bluetooth in the same compact format. The MAX is still available as a Starter Kit.
Is the kit compatible with my foil?
Foil Drive mounts on most masts with the brand's adapter. Duotone accepts other Front Wings with a fuselage adapter. Tell us your mast and fuselage, and we will check before shipping.
