Kitefoil masts: Length and Stiffness

For kitefoiling, a longer mast gives you more clearance in choppy water and at high speeds. A shorter mast is simpler for learning and ideal for shallow spots. Carbon masts deliver the stiffness you need for precision at high speeds, while aluminum masts are more robust and affordable. As of October 29, 2026, this section features masts from Duotone (AL 3BS QM, Aero SLS, SLS Carbon Aero Mid QM, and Slim 2.0 D/LAB), F-One (aluminum and HM 14 Titan 1 carbon), and Slingshot (One-Lock aluminum, carbon, HM, and Pro HM Carbon).

Your mast needs to be compatible with your board's plate and the fuselage from the same brand. Always double-check the connection on the product sheet.
