For downwind, riders often use a long mast for more clearance in the swell, and a stiff one to maintain speed. As of October 5, 2026, this section includes Sabfoil Piantone Blackbird masts in three lengths, Duotone Aero SLS, SLS 2.0 and Slim 2.0 D/LAB, F-One carbon HM 14 Titan 1, Armstrong Performance, Slingshot One-Lock carbon, and Project Drag UHM 80.
