The Mystic Star Fullsuit 4/3mm Front Zip for men is the 4/3 mm frontzip fullsuit from the Star range, a Mystic classic for over ten years. Mystic redesigned it with 3D virtual simulation for an even better fit.
Neoprene and Lining
You get MX2 stretch neoprene. Fox Fleece lining covers the chest, back, and upper thighs. Mystic describes this as a large-loop lining that traps air for insulation and retains less water.
Seams and Watertightness
The panels are glued and then blind-stitched (GBS), with waterproof reinforcement at the seam junctions. The YKK frontzip is lined with a silicone Aquabarrier over the collarbones, and the Glideskin collar seals snugly at the neck. FAQ - MYSTIC STAR FULLSUIT 4/3MM FRONT ZIP MEN
This fullsuit is for kitesurf, wingfoil, or Surf riders who want a simple, proven fullsuit for winter or mid-season. A 4/3 mm fullsuit means 4 mm of neoprene at the torso and 3 mm at the arms and legs.
First, measure your chest circumference, then your height. Refer to the Mystic guide above. Short sizes (MS, LS) keep the chest circumference of an M or L for a smaller height. Long sizes (MT, LT, XLT) are for a taller height. A winter wetsuit should fit snugly, with no air pockets in the back or at the knees. If you are between sizes, call us.
Mystic makes the Star in both versions. The back zip is easier to put on. The front zip leaves the back in one piece and lets less water in at the collar. This version has a front zip.
Rinse it with fresh water after each session, inside and out. Then dry it in the shade on a wide hanger. Avoid direct sunlight, radiators, and keeping it in a closed bag while still wet. Also rinse the zip if there is one: sand is what wears it out.
