The Leviathan 1400 Blackbird Glider is a complete high-performance set designed for a single objective: ultra-efficient displacement. Sabfoil presents the KL1400-FCM-SDW375-75/BB as a high-performance set for the committed pump foiler and downwind enthusiast, seeking ultimate efficiency in motion. The "glide engine" profile with its extreme aspect ratio and 1380 mm wingspan makes it the lightest wind Leviathan option, capable of take-off from 7-9 knots. It covers five disciplines: Wing, Surf, Pump foil, SUP foil, and Downwind.
Both Leviathan kits share the same M75/BB mast, the FC/M modular fuselage, and a race-derived profile (AR 12.3). The key difference is in the front wing and stab. The 1300 kit features a 1330 cm² front wing (1280 mm wingspan) and a super low-drag SDW 360 stab (110 cm², AR 11.8). This 1400 kit, however, comes with a 1549 cm² front wing (1380 mm wingspan) and a more allround SDW 375 stab (130 cm², AR 10.4). While the 1400 gets you up and flying earlier (7-9 knots compared to the 1300's 10-12 knots), its top speed is slightly lower (16-18 knots versus 19-21 knots). The 1400 also expands your riding options, adding Surf foil to its disciplines.
Sabfoil uses "1400-inch as a series convention to identify the Front Wing size. The actual wingspan is 1380 mm, as detailed in the specifications. This same convention applies to the 1300 model, which has an actual wingspan of 1280 mm.
