The Manera Magma Boots 7 mm Round Toe are Manera's warmest winter boots, with a round toe and lined with Magma Plus fleece, for kite, wing foil, and surf in cold water. Same construction as the Magma 5 mm, with more insulation for truly cold waters. Manera designs them for those who delay wearing boots, fearing a loss of board feel: warm, but made to be forgotten once in the water.

The 7 mm thickness is designed for the heart of winter: cold water, strong wind, and long sessions where your feet might give out before the rest of you. For autumn and spring, the Magma 5 mm offers serious warmth while still providing more feel underfoot.
Warmth and Feel
The Magma Plus fleece lines the interior and dries quickly between sessions. The sole remains thin to transmit pressure, and the lateral reinforcements hold your foot securely, preventing it from floating inside the boot, even with the neoprene thickness.

Measure your foot from heel to the tip of your longest toe. Then refer to the size guide above. An oversized boot allows water to circulate and your foot to slip. A snug fit is better. If you are in doubt, try them on at the Pornichet store.
The 7 mm is for truly cold water and long winter sessions. Choose the 5 mm if you want more feel and primarily ride in autumn and spring.
