Manera categorizes this as a wetsuit for warm conditions. It's ideal for those days when the air is still warm, but the water or wind makes you shiver after an hour. On the Atlantic coast, it's a perfect mid-summer piece. As soon as the water temperature drops, you'll want to switch to a hybrid or a 3/2.
The 3D pattern
Manera designs its wetsuits in 3D, then converts them into 2D patterns for the factory. This approach, rather than forcing flat patterns onto a volumetric body, prevents gaping at the hips and shoulders, especially with the Bikisuit's revealing cut.
Materials
This wetsuit features S-Foam, made from limestone, and a soft, skin-friendly Seafarer inner jersey. It's assembled with solvent-free water-based glue. Manera acknowledges that limestone isn't a renewable resource; this choice reduces petroleum dependence, but it doesn't make the neoprene neutral.
Manufacturing
Manufactured by Sheico in Taiwan, Manera's partner since 2012. The seams are strategically placed away from friction areas to minimize irritation. Your wetsuit arrives in recyclable cardboard with a compostable bag.

Start with your weight in the size guide. Then check your height. With Manera, weight is primary. The wetsuit should be snug when you try it on. It will stretch slightly after a few hours in the water.
This is for surfers, kiters, and wingers who ride in summer. They want some warmth on the torso and arms without restricting their legs. Wear it with swim bottoms, which are not included.
Rinse it with fresh water after each session. Dry it in the shade, never on a thin metal hanger. Do not machine wash, tumble dry, or dry clean it.
