The ION Seek Amp 5/4 back zip men's 2025 fullsuit is the most flexible men's wetsuit in ION's Amp series. It features five millimeters of neoprene on the torso and four on the limbs. The back zip is easy to close by yourself. This fullsuit comes with flexible linings: Hot_Stuff 2.0 in front, Plasma_Plush 2.0 and Novaskin in the back, Silk_Stuff on the shoulders, and recycled Max_Flex on the chest, shoulders, and neck. It's available in two colors: Black and Blue Nights, which is a darker shade of blue.

The 2025 edition of the Amp series
The ION Seek Amp 5/4 back zip men's 2025 is the 5/4 back zip version from the Seek Amp series in the 2025 winter collection. This is ION's most elastic series. While the 2027 vintage is also available, the 2025 model stands out with its specific linings: Hot_Stuff 2.0 on the front, Plasma_Plush 2.0 in the back with a windproof Novaskin textile, and Silk_Stuff on the shoulders and arms. This model is currently being discontinued by ION.
Elasticity: Max_Flex, Silk_Stuff, I_Foam
The recycled Max_Flex outer lining covers the chest and shoulders. It also covers the neck. ION states it provides 30% more flexibility and quick-drying properties. Inside, the Silk_Stuff on the shoulders and arms allows for free movement. Beneath these linings, the low-density I_Foam neoprene contains oyster shell powder, a filler ION uses for insulation. The shoulders are without a seam, and the number of panels is reduced.
Back zip, watertightness, and seams
Entry is via the back zip, a design that allows for quick, unassisted donning and doffing, keeping the chest panel intact. Silicone prints on the arms and legs minimize water entry. The seams are glued and blind-stitched, reinforced with a flexible tape across the entire interior, and feature strengthened stress points. The arm and leg edges are fused. You'll find thin padding on the shins, along with reinforced drainage holes and separate straps on the legs.
For what conditions
This is the ideal winter fullsuit for the Atlantic coast, perfect from December to March. Pair it with a hood and boots for complete warmth. You can also add gloves. For even colder water, the Seek Amp 6/5 back zip offers an extra millimeter of thickness. The Black color is available in sizes 46/XS to 56/XXL, including short cuts from 25/MS to 28/XXLS and tall cuts from 94/ST to 106/XLT. The Blue Nights color is available from 48/S to 56/XXL.

FAQ - ION SEEK AMP 5/4 BACK ZIP MEN'S 2025
This fullsuit is for anyone riding the Atlantic coast from December to March who wants a flexible winter wetsuit and prefers a back zip that's easy to close on their own.
They are the same series, with the same cut and recycled Max_Flex. The 2027 has different inner lining, with Graphene_Plush 2.0 and Hot_Stuff 2.0 throughout the body, and recycled Eco_Stretch. It also adds the Water_Gate panel behind the back zip. The 2025 keeps Hot_Stuff 2.0 in the front, Plasma_Plush 2.0, and Novaskin in the back. This is a proven winter wetsuit, now an end-of-series item at ION.
The ION size guide at the top of the page provides height and weight, along with chest circumference for each size. Short cuts (25/MS to 28/XXLS) feature a wider torso with shorter legs, while tall cuts (94/ST to 106/XLT) have a slimmer torso with longer legs; these are only available in Black. A wetsuit should fit snugly when dry, with no air pockets. If you're between sizes, give us a call.
Rinse it with fresh water after every session. Turn it inside out and dry it in the shade on a wide hanger. Never dry it in the sun or on a radiator. Never fold it wet in a bag. Close the back zip before hanging it, and rinse the zipper pull with the rest. Sand in a zip is what wears it out.
