The ION Fuse Drysuit 4/3 Back Zip SUPRA_TEX is ION's 4/3 neoprene drysuit. It lets you keep riding kitesurf, windsurf, or wingfoil even when the water and air are freezing. It has a back zip and TIZIP Master_Seal P_Zip, latex seals at the wrists and ankles, a removable hood, Storm_Whistle, and reflective strips. ION rates it for temperatures from -6 to 12 °C. The ION drysuit
The ION Fuse Drysuit 4/3 Back Zip SUPRA_TEX is a 4/3 neoprene drysuit with a back zip, designed by ION for winter kitesurf, windsurf, and wingfoil sessions in temperatures from -6 to 12 °C. Every drysuit passes the Diving Drysuit Seams watertightness test before leaving the factory.
Watertightness
The back zip and P_Zip are TIZIP Master_Seal, a brand known for its watertightness. At the wrists and ankles, SPECIALISEDLATEX Latex_Cuffs SEAMTITE form a tight seal on your skin. The collar is made from soft, stretchy neoprene, with Glide_Skin inside for warmth and comfort. On the seat, a Supra_Tex panel resists abrasion and tears. This ensures your drysuit lasts.
Safety
ION engineered the Fuse with dark winter days in mind. The Storm_Whistle, featuring a patented harmonic chamber, emits a 3150 hertz sound. It even works underwater. Re_Flective strips are on the shoulders and hood. They bounce back light from a searchlight when night falls early.
Comfort and conditions
The cut is spacious and adjustable. This makes it easy to get in and out. It also allows you to wear a warm base layer underneath. The hood adjusts with a drawstring. It is detachable. ION states the composition as 80% neoprene and 20% polyamide. Sizes 48/S to 58/3XL.

FAQ - ION FUSE DRYSUIT 4/3 BACK ZIP SUPRA_TEX
For kitesurf, windsurf, or wingfoil riders who want to keep riding in the middle of winter. ION says it works down to -6 °C, when a wetsuit is no longer enough. ION recommends it over the Fuse Lightweight as soon as you ride with a harness.
Consult the ION size guide on this page based on your body size, weight, and chest circumference. Check the fit with the base layer you plan to wear. You must be able to move freely, with snug seals that do not restrict circulation. If in doubt, ask the shop for advice before choosing your size.
References 48212-4400 and 48232-4400 are two Fuse models. They are 4/3 neoprene with a back zip, latex seals, and a removable hood. The ION product page for reference 48212-4400 mentions Supra_Tex reinforcement on the seat. To choose, compare the supplier references, sizes, and characteristics on each product page.
Rinse it with fresh water after each session, including the zips. Dry it in the shade on a wide hanger, turned inside out, then right side out. Latex seals are sensitive to sun and greasy creams. Keep them protected between sessions. Close the zips before storing it. Never store it folded while damp.
