The 2023 ION Element 5/4 Front Zip women's fullsuit is ION's Element series winter wetsuit with a front zip. It features five millimeters of neoprene on the torso and four on the limbs, with Hot_Stuff 2.0 on the chest and back, and Silk_Stuff on the upper body. Available in Black, with both short and long cuts, or in Deep Forest.

The Element series, 2023 vintage
The 2023 ION Element 5/4 Front Zip women's fullsuit is the 5/4 front zip fullsuit from ION's Element series. ION designed it for women who love being in the water and don't need much to have a great time. The 2023 vintage is at the end of its run at ION; you can find the newer model online on our site.
Hot_Stuff 2.0 and Silk_Stuff Linings
The torso and back are lined with Hot_Stuff 2.0, ION's most elastic thermal lining. It adds warmth and protects against cold wind. On the chest and shoulders, Silk_Stuff provides a comfortable fit. It also offers elasticity to the arms.
Seams and details
Critical seams are reinforced with glued blindstitched or flatlock construction, depending on the area, and stress points are strengthened. You'll also find reinforced drainage holes at the chest.
For what conditions
A 5/4 fullsuit will keep you warm through winter on the Atlantic coast, from December to March, especially when paired with a hood, as well as boots and gloves. It's available in Black from 34/XS to 42/XL, including the short cut 19/MS and long cuts 76/MT and 80/LT. The Deep Forest colorway is available from 34/XS to 40/L.

FAQ - ION ELEMENT 5/4 FRONT ZIP FEMME 2023
This fullsuit is for the rider who heads out in winter and wants a warm wetsuit without the higher price tag of premium series. The front zip design keeps the back in one piece for maximum flexibility.
The ION size guide, located higher on this page, provides height and weight for each size, along with chest circumference. A wetsuit should fit snugly when dry, with no air creases. If you're between sizes, give us a call. According to this guide, the short cut 19/MS and the long cut 76/MT share the chest circumference of a 38/M but are designed for shorter or taller riders, respectively. The 80/LT has the chest circumference of a 40/L. These specific cuts are only available in Black.
Rinse it with fresh water after each session, inside out. Dry it in the shade on a wide hanger. Never dry it in the sun or on a radiator. Never fold it wet in a bag. Close the zip before hanging it to avoid deforming the chest.
We are a Kite and wing shop in Pornichet, on the Atlantic coast. We also sell Surf gear. We ride all year in water that drops below ten degrees in February. We wear ION wetsuits before selling them.
