The ION Boardbag Wing Core Slim 2025 is your go-to lightweight bag for transporting a medium-sized wingfoil board from your car to the beach. It features a 100% recycled shell, 5mm padding, a white PE bottom, and a convenient slot to keep your mast attached. DETAILED DESCRIPTION
A minimalist bag
ION designed the Wing Boardbag Core Slim for light travel. It provides simple protection for the car ride to the beach, but it's not intended for an airplane's cargo hold. The shell is 100% recycled and lined with 5mm foam padding. Underneath the bag, a white PE reflects heat when it's waiting in the sun. The mast slot means you don't have to unscrew your foil after every session.
Carrying and sizes
A central handle is included. The bag also accepts a shoulder strap, sold separately, which attaches with two carabiners. An internal pocket keeps screws and tools organized. Two sizes are available: the 5'6-inch fits boards up to 167 x 55 cm, and the 6'0-inch accommodates boards up to 186 x 60 cm. ION states the composition as 30% recycled polyester, 60% polyethylene, and 10% polyamide.

Compare your board's length and width to the ION guide, located higher up on the page. The 5'6-inch fits boards up to 167 x 55 cm, while the 6'0-inch accommodates boards up to 186 x 60 cm. For a larger board or other sizes, the Wing Boardbag Core Slim 2026 is available from 5'5-inch to 6'7-inch.
Empty out any sand, rinse with fresh water, and let it dry open in the shade before storing it flat or hanging.
