The part that takes the impact
Your hub transmits all the motor's torque to the propeller blades. It's also the component that absorbs the shock when your propeller hits something. While the screws act as a fuse, a direct impact can still mark the hub's housings. An ovalized hub will allow play in the blades, leading to vibrations and shortening the life of the downstream bearing.
Switch to 3 blades
If you're still riding with a 2-blade propeller, upgrading to a 3-blade setup requires this hub, the corresponding blades, and the dedicated screw set. You'll especially feel the performance boost during take-off and re-acceleration, where thrust is critical. At top speed, the difference is less noticeable. We recommend this setup for heavier riders and those focused on wing or downwind riding.
