Meet the Diablo Carbon, Evolve's stiffest and lightest board. It features a 100% forged carbon fiber deck, dual 3,500 W motors, and weighs just 13.1 kg with street wheels. Evolve claims this board offers their best power-to-weight ratio. It delivers up to 80 km of range on street wheels or 50 km on all-terrain tires. You can order it in two versions: the Sport or the Limited to 25 km/h.
On private land: you can ride with or without speed limiting, as long as you have the owner's permission. On public roads: most countries have specific speed limits and equipment requirements you'll need to follow.
Helmet and Gear: Evolve mandates a helmet every time you ride their boards; it's a core brand rule. Other required gear varies by country and local regulations. Rules change, so always check the applicable regulations before you ride. If you're ever in doubt, just give us a call.
KEY INFORMATION
This 7,000 W electric skateboard features an 864 Wh nominal battery. It provides 80 km on street wheels or 50 km all-terrain. Weighing 13.1 kg, it's available in a Sport 55 km/h version or a Limited to 25 km/h version.
What we like
- The carbon deck's character. Its rigidity ensures precise, stable response when you pick up the pace.
- Choose your terrain. Go street for asphalt, all-terrain for trails, or get both with the 2-in-1 option.
- Getting started. The Phaze remote control's four modes let you fine-tune both acceleration and braking.
- After-sales support in Pornichet. Our workshop provides expert advice and diagnostics. We also offer repair services.
Uses
With 97 mm street wheels, you'll conquer asphalt and smooth concrete. The 175 mm tires open up short grass and dirt, as well as gravel. On public roads, only use the Limited to 25 km/h version, and always follow your country's regulations.
Two Versions
You choose your version when you order. We set the speed limiting in the Phaze remote control before shipping, and we won't remove it after delivery because our liability is at stake.
Choose your wheels
Switching from street to all-terrain requires the complete kit, including gears and drive belts. The 2-in-1 option includes this kit with the board for an additional €200. If you don't choose the 2-in-1, the kit is available separately.
Level
No prior skateboarding experience? No problem. The Phaze remote control offers four modes to adjust acceleration and braking. For your first rides, choose a clear, traffic-free surface that is smooth.
Included
- The board assembled with your chosen wheel set.
- The Phaze remote control and its charging cable
- The battery charger.
- The adjustment tool and spare mounting hardware
- The complete all-terrain kit with the 2-in-1 option
- For the 25 km/h Bridled version: lights, horn, reflectors, and an EU declaration of conformity
DETAILED DESCRIPTION
Who is the Diablo Carbon for?
This board is for riders who want a stiff, direct, and stable ride as speed increases. The carbon deck transmits pressure without the flex of bamboo. If you prefer a more flexible board, the Diablo Bamboo is a better fit.
Choosing your setup
Street wheels are perfect for asphalt and smooth concrete. For short grass and dirt, or gravel, switch to all-terrain tires. The 2-in-1 option includes both complete setups. To change between them, you'll need to replace the wheels and gears, along with the drive belts.
Controllable power
The Phaze remote control features four modes to customize acceleration and braking. Start with the gentlest setting, then adjust as your terrain and comfort level change. You can also fine-tune the regenerative braking through the Evolve app.
Care and repair in Pornichet

FAQ, EVOLVE DIABLO CARBON
On Evolve boards, the speed limit is set in the Phaze remote control, not the board itself. The restricted version comes with a remote control set to 25 km/h. All four modes remain available. They change the responsiveness of acceleration and braking, but the speed remains capped regardless of the mode. The setting is applied before shipping, and we do not remove it after delivery.
Both boards share the same platform, motors, battery, and trucks. The deck is where they differ: one features forged carbon, while the other uses bamboo, which Evolve says offers flex that absorbs vibrations. The Carbon weighs 13.1 kg with street wheels, and the Diablo Bamboo is 14.1 kg. Each board caters to different preferences.
Yes. The Phaze remote control's four modes let you adjust acceleration and braking. Start on a smooth, clear, traffic-free surface, wearing a helmet and gloves. Take time to master starting and turning. Master braking before you change modes.
Evolve advertises a maximum range of 80 km on street wheels and 50 km on all-terrain tires. Your setup significantly impacts these figures: 175 mm tires require more energy than 97 mm urethane wheels over the same distance. Factors like elevation changes, frequent starts, and colder temperatures will further reduce your actual range compared to the advertised numbers.
Yes, but not by just changing the tires. The conversion needs the complete kit, including gears and drive belts. The 2-in-1 option provides both setups with the board for an extra €200. Without that option, order the kit separately. You can make the change with the tool included in the box.
No. The nominal 864 Wh battery is well above the 160 Wh limit for lithium batteries in both cabin and checked baggage. It travels by land, under lithium battery freight regulations.
No, the Diablo Carbon is not watertight. Evolve does not publish any watertightness rating for this model. Water damage is not covered by the warranty. Avoid rain, puddles, and jet washing.
