Sabfoil presents the KBZ-965-385-85/BB as a complete foil kit for Freestyle Pro riders, freestylers, freeriders, wave riders, and Fast Freeride enthusiasts. Its primary target covers wing foil and surf foil in light wind conditions. It offers take-off at 10 / 12 knots and reaches 22 / 24 knots at its peak for an 80 kg rider.
All three complete foil kits share the same mast (M85/BB). The key difference lies in the Front Wing surface area: 792 cm² for the 805 (medium-strong), 998 cm² for the 905 (light-medium), and 1210 cm² for the 965 (this kit, light). The 965 shares the same Progressive 385 stabilizer as the 905, while the 805 uses a smaller Progressive 365 stabilizer. The larger the Front Wing, the earlier the take-off, but the lower the top speed: 28 / 30 knots (805) vs 25 / 27 (905) vs 22 / 24 (965 this kit).
Sabfoil offers two configurations of the Balz Pro 965 complete foil kit: Integrated Backtail (KBZ-965-385-85/BB, this kit, with the fuselage integrated into the Progressive 385 stabilizer) and Modular Full Carbon (KBZ965-FCM-425-85/BB, same price of €1899, modular configuration). Sabfoil announces the same performance for both versions.
Yes, the complete foil kit includes all necessary components: WBZ965/BB Front Wing, Progressive 385 stabilizer integrated into the fuselage, Piantone Blackbird 85 mast, Carbon Rail plate with titanium inserts (CP02K/Ti), and the complete screw set (MHQ02, MH144, MH137, MH160, MH171, MH172). Only the board needs to be provided.
Sabfoil offers the Cover Front Wing H bag (reference MA041) for the WBZ965/BB wing, which is explicitly compatible with the WBZ905, WBZ965, BALZ909, BALZ969, WM899, and WM999. For the stabilizer, Sabfoil offers the Cover Stabilizer A bag (reference MA037), compatible with all Sabfoil stabilizers.
