DETAILED DESCRIPTION

A Pisces-Inspired Design

The deck features a unique design inspired by the Pisces constellation, complete with a fish tail shape and a generous 10.5-inch width. Measuring 29 inches long with a 15.88-inch wheelbase, it delivers optimal control and enhanced stability. This board is designed for both regular and intensive use. The deck is constructed from seven plies of maple. Carver describes it as lively and responsive in turns, with enough stability to carry speed between carves, while its width provides comfortable leverage to really engage the rail for deep carving.

The CX truck system in detail

The CX is Carver's innovative single-axis system. Its patented geometry positions an inverted kingpin at 90 degrees. This allows the hanger to pivot significantly more than a classic skate truck. A precision pivot ensures immediate response when loaded. Carver likens the ride feel to that of a modern thruster surfboard: expect sharp turns, clean cut-backs, and fast, progressive riding. With fewer moving parts, it also requires less care than the C7 and matches the weight of a traditional truck. This makes it the ideal choice for shortboard surfers and riders who frequently hit the skatepark for transitions or aerials. The rear truck is a Carver C2 truck.

Original setup

Your board arrives fully assembled and ready to ride. It comes straight from the factory with 65mm 83a Roundhouse Slicks wheels and Carver ABEC 7 bearings integrated directly into the wheels. You'll also find two 3/16-inch Carver risers, totaling 3/8-inch, and 1.25-inch Carver countersunk mounting hardware. Roundhouse wheels are Carver's own line, specifically designed for surfskate. Their unique profile and urethane compound prioritize grip when loaded and a smooth roll, rather than outright speed. No need to add or reassemble anything; just unbox it and hit the pavement.

CX or C7: which to choose?

This board comes equipped with CX trucks and premium key components. These ensure an unparalleled carving and surfskate experience. It's delivered complete and ready to use. Carver itself summarizes the choice between its two systems: the CX for a livelier rail engagement, and the C7 for that smoother, more drawn-out Surf feel. This model is available with both setups. If you're unsure which is right for you, give us a call: we'll help you choose based on your riding style, usual terrain, and Surf experience.
