DETAILED DESCRIPTION
Prone first and foremost
Prone foiling is where it all began, and the Bump is made for those who take it seriously. Cabrinha is clear: this is not a crossover board trying to do everything. It's a surf foil machine for riders who paddle, get up, and pump to catch sessions others miss.
A unique shape for each size
Each size has been designed individually. The smaller sizes remain thin and compact for maximum sensitivity and control. This also allows for better handling. As sizes increase, the outlines evolve into a mid-length inspired shape, improving paddling, wave entry, and glide, without losing responsiveness.
The tail
The wide squash tail of the 4'5 provides early lift, stability, quick acceleration, and tight turns. The tail then narrows with increasing sizes to maintain balance and control as the volume grows.
Apex Pro Carbon
The Bump uses the lightweight construction of the Swift: a light EPS core, full biaxial carbon wrap, HD PVC and carbon deck, fiberglass reinforcements, HD PVC foil box with vertical supports, triple rail reinforcement, and a 3K carbon bottom. It releases cleanly, accelerates quickly, and remains direct underfoot.
With foil assist
A pure prone board, it also works with a Foil Drive to extend sessions, connect waves, or go further, without losing the feel, according to Cabrinha. In its selector, the brand gives it maximum ratings for speed and handling. It also gets maximum ratings for tilt, 90% for lift, and 80% for power delivery.
Theo's opinion
Theo, a Cabrinha rider, finds it easy to catch waves due to its paddling speed and smooth take-off. The compact shape maintains a true surf feel, and if the board touches the water, it bounces back and gets back on the foil. He uses it for strapless carving as well as jumping with straps.
