The deck measures 31.25 inches long by 10.13 inches wide. It features a square tail shape and a 17.25-inch wheelbase. The Cosmic Haze design blends elegant aesthetics with quality components. Constructed from seven plies of maple, its signature feature is the pronounced concave under the front foot, the most prominent in the Carver range, combined with a wider nose. This setup lets you carve with confidence and link controlled slides across varied terrains, from bumps and street to gentle transitions.
The C7 truck system in detail
The C7 is Carver's innovative dual-axis system. A swing arm and the kingpin work in harmony to create two dimensions of movement: lateral offset and tilt. This offers a significant upgrade from the single dimension of a classic truck. A spring, housed in the base, compresses during turns. It is easily adjusted by a screw, and both axes can be independently fine-tuned. The turning arc is wider than the CX. This provides a more expansive ride feel. Carver likens it to a single-fin surfboard, where pumping comes naturally. This system is the top choice for longboard surfers and anyone prioritizing fluidity. While slightly heavier than the CX, it's paired with a Carver C2 rear truck.

You'll also find two 3/16-inch Carver risers, totaling 3/8-inch, and 1.25-inch Carver countersunk mounting hardware. Roundhouse wheels are Carver's own line, specifically designed for surfskate. Their unique profile and urethane compound prioritize grip when loaded and a smooth roll, rather than outright speed. No need to add or reassemble anything; just unbox it and hit the pavement.
CX or C7: which to choose?
Paired with Carver's C7 technology, this deck delivers optimal performance on asphalt. It's suitable for both skate and surfskate, and is particularly aimed at riders who want to perfect their technique and explore new maneuvers. Carver itself summarizes the choice between its two systems as follows: the CX for a sharper rail engagement, the C7 for that smoother, more extended surf feel.
