The secret: the triple concave
The Malus Domestica's bottom features a deep and pronounced triple concave. The concaves on the rails provide exceptional upwind stability. The bottom contour mirrors the deck, resulting in a thinner, more efficient rail that excels in chop without making the board feel too thin. These concaves cut the rocker in the middle of the bottom, creating an ultra-efficient surface for water flow. The result? A fast board with very early planing that won't slip during sideways landings.
Quad or thruster
The Malus Domestica comes equipped with 5 FUTURES fin box, allowing you to ride in either quad (4 fins) or thruster (3 fins) configuration. In quad mode, the board offers more speed and drive through turns, making it ideal for waves. Switch to thruster, and you'll gain enhanced control and pivot, better suited for strapless freestyle and smaller conditions.
White Line Construction
The White Line range features Appletree's best-selling models in a proven standard construction. The exclusive 50K closed cell foam core is wrapped in a hex-skin sandwich: a structural fiberglass layer, a flexible hex-skin honeycomb, and a 45° outer layer. The bottom remains without honeycomb to preserve maximum flex. An additional reinforcement under the front foot completes the package.
